For sale is a beautiful Imperial Topaz Crystal artfully wrapped in a tension forged sterling silver wire wrap. This is a wonderful piece that is completely natural (meaning that it has not been heat treated or irradiated) and is also still in its original crystal form. You can see the natural striations in the piece and those combined with the amazing inclusions that flash and shine with rainbow colors make it a truly unique specimen. The lovely golden orange color is highlighted by the swirling waves of sterling silver which securely grasp the stone and really make it pop.
Metaphysically, imperial topaz is know as a "stone of good fortune" and brings prosperity and abundance to the wearer. It facilitates strengthening of the personal will and is especially good for those who feel they have lost their faith.
My wire work is all done by me in a tension forging technique using a hammer and anvil. I have been using this technique for almost 17 years with great results. I call it tension forging because all that holds the piece securely in the wrap is the tension of the wire. It is a single piece of wire and there is no glue or solder added making it exceedingly organic while still remaining very secure.
